Duchy of Brabant or Lothier English

The former kingdom then duchy of Lotharingia (from the latin "Lotharii Regnum", the Lothair's realm) split into the duchies of upper and lower Lotharingia in 1044.
The counts of Brabant became dukes of lower Lotharingie (also called Lothier).
